Windows Phone 7-My first App

I am kind of excited to install Windows phone SDK and developing my first Windows Phone App.( Simple Hello World-although I typed my name).

I started of by downloading SDK, installing it and giving it a shot.

One important point about the SDK is the fact that it contains Microsoft Expression Blend 4, that is installed as a part of the SDK along with the Windows Phone Emulator.

However, WindowsphoneGeek can be a good resource to start with and what's even better is that they are providing a Free -E book.

I think this is too vague of a post, however I am too excited to think about it currently.

WPF Overview-Part-II

This post is in continuation to the last post. In this Post I’ll be exploring the Dependency Properties Dependency properties are similar to CLR properties with more advanced and complex features. The main difference between the CLR properties and dependency properties is, that the value of a normal .NET property is read directly from a private member in your class, whereas the value of a DependencyProperty is resolved dynamically when calling the GetValue() method that is inherited from DependencyObject .
